Available for
Before you book.
Who actually turns up?Hosts, waiters and bartenders, picked for your evening.
A team of hosts, waiters, bartenders and event staff, selected for the type of event. Experience and manner with guests are the main criteria, and the mix depends on the occasion: a seated dinner and a busy launch need different teams. The team is briefed before the event on the guests, the brand and the running order.
What will they wear?Understated by default; your brand’s colours on request.
The standard dress is smart and understated, and the look is agreed with you in advance. Branded uniforms, specific colours or themed outfits are possible; mention them early, as they take time to arrange.
Will they know our brand?Yes. There’s a briefing before the doors open.
The team is briefed before the event on the guests, the brand and the tone of the evening: who is coming, what matters to you and how guests should be received. Useful material for the briefing includes a brand book, the guest list and the running order. If guests are likely to ask about a product, product information can be part of it.
Is one bartender too small a job?Not at all. A dinner for eight deserves a good bartender too.
No. Bookings range from a single bartender for a small dinner to a full team for a launch, and small bookings go through the same selection and briefing as large ones.
How far ahead should we ask?As early as you can. Good people get booked.
As early as possible, particularly for the Christmas season and early summer, when experienced staff are in demand. More notice means more choice when putting the team together. Shorter notice is sometimes possible; include the date in your enquiry and we confirm availability.
Whom do we call on the night? One person at Presence, from first call to last guest.
You have one named contact at Presence who plans the team with you and can be reached during the event. For larger teams, a floor lead is agreed in advance, so your staff and suppliers know whom to ask.
Great hospitality starts with the right people.
